We loved the old authentic tavern bar and restaurant. Excellent atmosphere and the food and cocktails were outstanding. The bedding was very comfortable and room was clean. By the beginning of the 20th century, the Publick House was unfortunately a shadow of its former self.

Food is excellent and the value cannot be beat. Employees were very helpful and friendly. Free pastries for breakfast that were to die for. Last stay, we had a dog and it was so well appointed on the ground floor for that.
